Charles Burns, The Hive
I want to say that the second installment of Burns’ new series was worth the wait. But it was over a year of wait… It was a weighty wait. The Hive was my favorite book gifted to me this Christmas, but it only makes me want to start sending Burns’ threatening letters to get the next installment post haste. It’s so beautiful, and I am gripped. Damn that Burns.
